$1,195 installed
Built for municipal water treated with chloramine disinfection, using catalytic carbon that standard filters can't match. If your utility uses chlorine instead, Carbon+ V1 will do the job at a lower cost.
After you select a system, we'll call to schedule your installation — the price and system are already yours to keep, the call is just to find a time that works. See exactly what happens, step by step.

What it addresses
Technical specifications
| Sediment stage | Pentek P5, 5 micron, NSF/ANSI 42 certified — 0.2 PSI pressure drop at 5 GPM |
| Carbon stage | Pentek ChlorPlus-10 catalytic carbon, 1 micron — rated 50,000 gallon chlorine capacity at 1 GPM, 2,500 gallon chloramine capacity at 0.5 GPM |
| Connections | 3/8" FPT housings, John Guest 3/8" push-to-connect fittings |
| Why chloramine capacity is lower | Chloramine is genuinely harder to remove than chlorine — the same stability that makes utilities prefer it also makes it resist carbon more. The cartridge still handles both; chlorine capacity is simply higher by design. |
Optional upgrade
Lead in drinking water is overwhelmingly a plumbing and infrastructure issue, not something tied to chlorine or chloramine — so it's offered as an independent upgrade on Carbon+ Elite, not a separate tier. Worth considering if:

Service plan
One scheduled visit a year, handled. We check in at six months in your first year just to be sure everything's right — no guessing when a filter is due, no forgetting, no blame when it isn't.
